The Doctor Who star, 57, was warned by his dad to "learn how to drive a car because you can't fall off a car". But he got the bike bug after inheriting his father-in-law's scooter.
He collected it from France last summer and drove it to Spain, stopping at a hotel where two BMW bike riders were staying.
