They were joined by celebrities from across the nation at a memorial service attended by hundreds for the theatre impresario, who died aged 78 in October.
Former Liverpool player and manager Kenny Dalglish, 72, and legendary Kop striker Ian Rush, 62, joined former Everton manager Frank Lampard, 45, and a host of ex-football stars.
Also paying their respects were Coleen Rooney, former boxer Tony Bellew and Kate McCann, mum of missing Madeleine.
Most of Everton's first team were there, along with current manager Sean Dyche, 52, for the emotional gathering at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral.
Coleen, 37, was alone as husband Wayne, 38, was managing Birmingham City as they played Leicester last night in a crucial Championship match.
Tony, 41, who came second in I'm A Celebrity this month, came along with former Everton player Tony Hibbert, 42.
