Far from showing contrition, Jordan Parlour blew a raspberry as he was led from Leeds Crown Court yesterday.
The court heard how the 28-year-old posted last Sunday about a hotel in his home city of Leeds, that housed 210 refugees and asylum seekers.
Parlour wrote: "Every man and their dog should be smashing f*** out Britannia Hotel." The hotel had already had windows broken yet more attacks happened after his post.
Jailing him for 20 months after he admitted the offence, Judge Guy Kearl KC accepted Parlour took no part in the violence but said: "There can be no doubt you were inciting others to do so." Also sentenced by Judge Kearl was Jordan Plain, 30, filmed making monkey gestures and shouting "rubber lips" towards black and Asian people in Leeds last Saturday.
Plain, of Broadway Horsforth, West Yorks, admitted racially aggravated harassment and was jailed for eight months.
Two counter-protesters were also jailed for an attack on "pro-EDL" activists.
