GB News has suspended former actor Laurence Fox and host Dan Wootton over crude comments directed at a female journalist.
Wootton smirked and laughed as Fox asked "who would want to s*** that?" about political correspondent Ava Evans, in response to her comments on men's mental health.
Bosses at the controversy-courting channel later apologised to Ms Evans over 45-year-old Fox's live on-air tirade, which happened on Tuesday night.
Ms Evans, political correspondent for online publication Joe, said: "I've had my apology from GB News. It was an email from the editor basically telling me that what Fox said was not representative of the rest of the GB News outfit.
"That's actually probably the best apology I could have gotten. I don't want to say I'm pleased by it. I just think that's probably the best outcome I could have hoped for."
