AMORIM PLAN WILL RUB OFF ON US

ANDRE ONANA insists he and his Manchester United team-mates can adapt to new boss Ruben Amorim.

Amorim, who will leave Sporting Lisbon to take over at United on Monday, prefers a 3-4-3 formation with wing-backs and without a No.10, which could spell trouble for playmaker Bruno Fernandes.

Former United boss Erik ten Hag liked four at the back and Onana insists the players are versatile enough to adjust to any changes in formation.

Onana was impressed by Sporting's thumping 4-1 Champions League win over Manchester City on Tuesday and said: "I did watch it. It was a great victory for them.

"It's a different system, but my team-mates, we're all pragmatic.

Everyone here is capable of playing in each system.

"I don't think it will be an issue for us. We have big players and they will step up.
