AN APPY NIGHT'S SLEEP AT LAST

IMPLANTS could finally spell the end of uncomfortable nights for sleep apnoea sufferers.

The app-controlled devices stimulate nerves in the tongue to help people breathe overnight. At the moment sufferers wear masks linked to air pressure Cpap machines.

The Genio devices, made by Belgian firm Nyxoah, were fitted at University College London Hospitals NHS Trust.
