THREE pupils from low-income families who attend the same state school have won scholarships to study at top US universities.
Tasneen Hossain, 18, Harmanpreet Garcha, 18, and Feyisara Adeyemi, 17, are set to start their four-year courses at the Ivy League institutions this autumn.
The total cost of the trio's studies and accommodation in the US is £1million and will be funded by the universities.
