THE mum of a boy stabbed with a ninja sword is imploring Rishi Sunak to ban the weapon that "went through my son's heart".
Ronan Kanda's mother Pooja said that his murder was "the wound I can never heal from" as she handed a petition signed by more than 10,000 people to No10.
Vowing to get the law changed, she said yesterday: "I cannot see what happened happen to any other child".
Pooja and her family want swords to be banned alongside machetes and zombie knives.
Speaking to the Mirror outside No10, she said: "We are a broken family.
This pain has become my strength and I will fight for this as long as I can." In a tragic case of mistaken identity, aspiring lawyer Ronan, 16, was stabbed from behind with the 20-inch sword as he walked home in Wolverhampton, West Mids, in June last year.
