SIR Alan Bates has urged Keir Starmer to set a deadline for compensation to be paid to victims of the Post Office scandal.
The campaigning hero said more than 70 people had died waiting for justice, while others "well into their 80s" were still suffering.
He said: "A deadline should be set."
