A VIOLENT storm is set to bring heavy rain and winds of up to 80mph to parts of Britain late tonight and tomorrow.
Storm Darragh will blow in from the west and may endanger life, close roads and bridges and cause power cuts.
Experts warn that falling trees and large waves could also pose a real danger.
The Met Office issued an amber wind and rain warning for parts of the UK for the fourth named storm of the season. It extends to cover the North East and south of England today.
