VICTORIA AZARENKA claims Emma Raducanu fell victim to fake hangers-on following her shock US Open triumph.
And the former world No.1 has urged the British star to form a "very small circle" of trusted people as she bids to relaunch her career after injury.
Raducanu, 20, has missed Wimbledon following wrist and ankle surgeries and will not return until at least the autumn.
The world No.132 has struggled on and off the court since her 2021 New York win.
Her team fired Andrew Richardson immediately after she became the first qualifier to win a Major and she is now seeking her sixth coach in two years.
And her only appearances at Wimbledon this year have been for her many sponsors before visiting her grandmother in Romania.
The Bromley-based star admitted last month that she sometimes wished she had "never won the US Open". Double Australian Open champion Azarenka has made headlines at Wimbledon after getting booed off after her fourth-round defeat.
