HAVING a late breakfast and an earlier evening meal cuts the risk of Type 2 diabetes, research suggests.

An eight-hour eating period improves blood glucose control in people at risk of the condition.

Researchers found this is not due to people eating less but because of the 16 hours a day they are fasting.
