A DEAF schoolgirl has been able to tell Santa what she wants for Christmas for the first time, thanks to an elf trained in sign language.
Four-year-old Emily Andrews was able to share her wish list after Melanie Boyeson acted as an interpreter.
Emily's family said she had been let down four times previously by grotto attractions which promised a British Sign Language service but didn't deliver.
Mum Tanya Andrews, 35, was moved to tears when she saw Emily using sign language to ask Santa for a doll, pram, earrings and a ring.
