HORSE racing icon Frankie Dettori is flogging his trophies and silks at auction before he retires.
The flamboyant 52-year-old jockey has ridden more than 4,000 winners in a career which started in the 1980s, but is hanging up his whip in October.
And the Italian is putting 126 items up for sale as he and wife Catherine prepare to move from their country pile.
Among the lots is Dettori's trophy from his Epsom Oaks triumph last month, which could be his last in a Classic race should he not win the St Leger in September.
