IN the city famous for its giant aspirin factory, Victor Boniface gave David Moyes his biggest headache in Europe with West Ham.

And it will take more than a couple of plink-plink-fizz to make it go away at the London Stadium next Thursday.

For 83 minutes, it looked as if the Hammers would become only the sixth team all season to stop Bayer Leverkusen winning.

But then substitute Jonas Hofmann smuggled his shot from 18 yards through a crowded box and beyond Lukasz Fabianksi, who had been in inspired form.

And in stoppage time another sub, Boniface, headed Hofmann's cross into the bottom corner, taking Leverkusen's remarkable run to 42 games unbeaten.
