Girls fight to get defence lessons in all classrooms

SELF-DEFENCE should be added to the national curriculum, according to a group of schoolgirls.

The teenagers say their Krav Maga classes have made them feel safer when walking at night.

With violent crime against women and girls up by nearly 40% in the past five years, they say the lessons are more important than learning to swim.
