Kane must decide what is more important... trophies with Bayern or breaking Shearer's goal record

HARRY KANE faces a dilemma this summer that will ultimately define his career.

Kane, already Tottenham's record goalscorer, wants to become the Premier League's all-time top marksman.

But that won't guarantee the one thing missing on his CV - trophies.

The England striker (below), No.1 target for German giants Bayern Munich, has to decide whether he wants to be remembered for goals or for glory.

Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel (below) sees Kane as the man to make the Bundesliga behemoths a major European force again. And a big-money move to Bayern would come with a virtual guarantee of silverware.

But saying goodbye to the Premier League would mean saying goodbye to the chance of overhauling Alan Shearer as the top flight's leading marksman.

Tuchel's initial attempts to lure Kane have been met with a firm "not for sale" response from Tottenham.

But in transfer terms that is rarely the end of the matter and Bayern whose initial valuation was around the £65million mark - are set to return with an £80m offer.
