BORIS Johnson knew he broke Covid rules and then lied about it, a Partygate report will find today.
The shamed former PM repeatedly denied to Parliament there had been lockdown parties in Downing Street.
But the Privileges Committee will say he deliberately misled MPs over the rules-busting gatherings, revealed by the Mirror in December 2021.
It is expected to publish a 30,000word report into the saga this morning.
Mr Johnson was seen working off his frustrations on a run near his home in Wallingford, Oxon, yesterday.
He quit as MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, West London, last week.
The committee, chaired by Harriet Harman, had informed him he faced being suspended from the Commons and a possible by-election.
Since he has already resigned, it might publicly shame him rather than hand down a punishment.
Or it could recommend with-holding on the Commons pass given to most former MPs allowing them access to the parliamentary estate.
