DAVID MOYES is set to make an emotional return to Everton after the sacking of Sean Dyche yesterday.
The decision to give Dyche the boot was announced three hours before Everton took on League One Peterborough in the FA Cup last night.
Dyche (above) had been made aware earlier this week that his job was under threat and talks came to a head yesterday afternoon. New owners The Friedkin Group feared the former Burnley boss had effectively given up and, when Dyche told them that he felt he had taken the club as far as he could, they acted swiftly.
