THE owner of holiday park chain Pontins raked in profits of £39million last year amid site closures.
Accounts for Britannia Hotels, controlled by tycoon Alex Langsam, also revealed its turnover jumped from £117.8m to £154.8m.
The sharp rise emerged after the sudden closure of three Pontins sites in the space of a few weeks.
