SAM ESEH has yet to make the grade at champions Wigan - but is loving life at hometown club Leeds.
The imposing prop, 21, signed for the Warriors last winter after a promising breakthrough season at Wakefield.
But he has not featured for Matt Peet's table toppers and recently joined the Rhinos his second loan of 2024 following a short stint at Castleford.
Eseh raised in the city's Halton Moor area has played in Leeds' last four games and will feature again in tonight's derby at Huddersfield.
He said: "I knew when I signed for Wigan that it would be tough, but I always aimed to play.
"This is professional sport, though, and if you're not performing then you're not going to play.
