BUCKS Fizz star Cheryl Baker has spoken of her happiness that her singer daughter has revealed she is gay.
Cheryl, 70, is proud Kyla, 29, has been so open about her sexuality and reckons society is now far more accepting than in Bucks Fizz's 80s heyday.
Cheryl, who won Eurovision in 1981 with the group's Making Your Mind Up, said: "Kyla came out to my husband Steve and me as gay when she was 20.
"I was relieved and happy that they felt able to be so open with us.
