A FORMER miner says he is living off soup, rice pudding and pain killers because he cannot find an NHS dentist to fix his teeth.
David Creamer, 62, has been in agony for seven months after losing four crowns but does not have the £5,400 he was quoted for private dental treatment.
He said: "It's bad enough getting a doctor's appointment around here - it takes two weeks to get that. As for dentists, it's fine if you've got money, if you haven't, you just won't see one."
