MADELEINE McCann suspect Christian Brueckner is a rapist who gets a kick out of his innocent victims' suffering, a court heard.
Prosecutors told a court in Germany yesterday the 47-year-old should be locked up for 15 years.
They echoed claims by a psychiatrist that Brueckner will commit more crimes if released from prison.
The German is suspected of abducting and killing Madeleine in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in May 2007, just days before her fourth birthday.
He is currently serving a seven-year term for raping an American pensioner in the same resort.
