TORY leadership contender Kemi Badenoch has triggered a major argument after suggesting she thinks maternity pay is excessive.
The former Minister for Women and Equalities also made contentious comments about the NHS and people from some other cultures.
She sparked anger on the first day of the Tory conference in Birmingham yesterday with her remarks on maternity pay. The Shadow Communities Secretary said: "There was a time when there wasn't any maternity pay and people were having more babies."
