A TODDLER has been given a special prosthetic eye after beating a rare cancer.

Nuala Mulholland was just 10 months old when diagnosed with alveolar soft part sarcoma, which only affects around six people a year in England.

Surgeons removed her eye in January and experts began working on a prosthetic, made to look exactly like the one lost.

Because of her age, they did not want to use traditional invasive moulding techniques.

MRI scans, CT scans and photographs were instead used to help reconstruct her face.
