OVER THE DUNE

HERE'S one pensioner who is showing no signs of slowing down.

Harry Hunter, 76, has become the oldest Briton to complete the world's most gruelling marathon.

The former Household Cavalry officer took seven days to finish the 157-mile race across the Sahara.

He began the Marathon des Sables ultra-marathon on his 76th birthday.

The oldest Brit record was once held by explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes, who ran the race in North Africa in 2017, aged 71.
