NONI MADUEKE was public enemy No.1 when he arrived in Wolverhampton.
And, after bagging a 14-minute hat-trick there yesterday, he'll probably need protection if he ever decides to visit the city again.
The 22-year-old winger claimed his first senior treble as Enzo Maresca's side ran riot.
But he did so against the backdrop of an incredible 24 hours in which he managed to upset the hosts beforehand by posting on social media that Wolverhampton was "s**t".
The message on his Instagram account was hurriedly removed - although not before eagle-eyed punters had screenshot the evidence.
Inevitably, he was booed from the first whistle. Yet, instead of forcing him to retreat into his shell, it had the opposite effect. Madueke began an afternoon of Maresca mayhem by forcing the first save of the afternoon from home keeper Jose Sa with barely 60 seconds on the clock.
