TOM CURRY has called on his England teammates to finally take responsibility and halt their shocking run of near-misses.
The back row, who will win his 55th cap against Australia on Saturday, insists it is time to stop throwing away games in the last quarter as they have done three times on the spin against New Zealand.
Curry was involved in all of that unwanted hat-trick, which culminated in the 24-22 loss at Twickenham after two defeats down under in July.
England were whiter than white last Saturday for an hour before five penalties and illdiscipline handed the Kiwis the lead back.
And the 26-year-old reckons it is time for players to kick the losing habit into touch, starting against the Wallabies at Twickenham this weekend.
