A POLICE investigation into the deaths of two young girls after a driver crashed into a school has been reopened after failings were found in the original probe.
Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau, both eight, were killed when a Land Rover Defender ploughed through a fence during an end-of-year tea party last July.
The Crown Prosecution Service decided in July not to charge driver Claire Freemantle, 47, who had suffered an epileptic seizure, it was claimed.
But the Metropolitan Police said yesterday that they are set to reopen the case after a review uncovered failings in the initial investigation into the crash at the Study Prep School in Wimbledon, South West London.
