DAVID RAYA finally ended Arsenal's Champions League curse after he was the hero of a dramatic penalty shoot-out.
Gunners keeper Raya saved two spot kicks to send Arsenal into the quarter finals for the first time since 2010 after a night of high drama at the Emirates.
It was a night of nerves as Porto pushed all the way before eventually Arsenal came out on top to go into Friday's draw.
The whole crowd were left biting their nails but Raya celebrated wildly on what will go down as an unforgettable season for the Arsenal No.1.
Arteta needed to find a balance between patience and making a fast start at the Emirates to try and overturn their first-leg defeat in Porto.
And truth be told, Arsenal got stuck somewhere in between.
They were far too cautious in the first leg in Porto and paid a heavy price with a defeat in a game they should never have lost.
