Shot dead 'trying to save someone else'

TRIBUTES have been paid to a mum shot dead outside her home as neighbours told how she had been trying to protect someone else.

They said Lianne Gordon, 42, was not the target in a triple shooting which also left a boy, 16, and man, 20, in hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

All three victims were known to each other but not related, said police, who had not made any arrests as of last night.

Teacher Lianne was gunned down in Hackney, East London, on Tuesday night.
