BY MARTIN FRICKER A MASTERPLAN that helped England win the 1966 World Cup has been found in an old suitcase.
Three Lions manager Sir Alf Ramsey compiled a detailed dossier - including scouting reports on other teams - for the football tournament on home soil.
The treasure trove, which he gave to a neighbour about 50 years ago, has emerged for sale at auction.
Documents include Sir Alf's notes on what the England players should eat and even what films to watch.
He also suggested what activities should be done during downtime including playing croquet.
Sir Alf gave the dossier to neighbour Elaine Coupland in Ipswich, Suffolk, in the 1970s, it is believed.
