Ramsey targets top of the group before he tackles Snowdon

AARON RAMSEY has a head for heights — and he’s aiming to top Wales’s Euro qualifying group before scaling Snowdon. 

The Welsh captain is preparing to lead Rob Page’s side out at home to Armenia tonight as they continue their bid to reach three successive Euros. The Dragons have got off to a promising start in Group D with four points already and now Nice midfielder Ramsey wants to displace Croatia at the summit.

Then he will turn his attention to a charity fundraiser to climb the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.

The former Arsenal star will tackle Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon on Wednesday after returning from Wales’s game in Turkey on Monday.
