FAILED Tory Prime Minister Liz Truss stormed off stage, fuming "that's not funny", when jokers unfurled a banner of a lettuce.
The sign, which read "I crashed the economy", appeared behind Ms Truss as she backed Donald Trump.
Laughter followed after the host at her book promotion said: "I've no idea where that's come from."
Ms Truss, who lost her seat in July's election, collected her papers and flounced off.
