It has been dubbed one of the worst decisions in rugby league history, but Wigan matchwinner Jake Wardle is having none of it.
The England center's hugely controversial 57th-minute try proved the difference as they pipped Penrith in Saturday's glorious World Club Challenge.
When he latched onto Jai Field's kick, he landed short of the goalline under pressure from desperate Panthers Brian Too and Dylan Edwards.
But referee Liam Moore sent it up as a try- and video referee Chris Kendall could not find any conclusive evidence to prove otherwise.
Yet Wardle (scoring the decisive try, right) insisted: "I actually do think I got it down.
"It was never a double movement. I think I had the tip of the ball down on the line.
"And he gave it. That's all that matters.
