WITH Burnley sat rock bottom of the Premier League, having lost their last seven games in all competitions, things are looking quite bleak at Turf Moor.

After scoring just nine goals and conceding 30 in their first 12 matches, it is hard to be positive about the Clarets' survival chances.

But Johann Berg Gudmundsson insists there is still hope.

Now in his eighth season at Turf Moor, Gudmundsson is Burnley's longest continuous serving player.

The Iceland winger is a veteran of five successful Premier League campaigns under Sean Dyche before they were relegated in 2022 and knows what it takes to stay up in the top flight.
