THE remains of a World War Two hero have been found on the site of a French battlefield.
Tank driver David Blyth, 25, was posted as missing in action during the Battle of Normandy on August 4, 1944. Now, almost 80 years after his Sherman tank was destroyed, his body has been identified.
His son Peter, 82, called the news "emotional", adding: "I don't think it's really sunk in.
