A WEE boy lost an eye when a pre-school vision test revealed he had a brain tumour the size of a golf ball.
Five-year-old Riley Thompson was taken to Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children in February after the routine exam where he was diagnosed with an optic nerve glioma.
The mass had been pushing against his eye prompting docs to operate in May to remove the growth.
