A SOLD-OUT production of West End musical The Jersey Boys was halted after fights broke out among the audience.
Staff at the Edinburgh Playhouse were forced to rush into the auditorium to deal with what appeared to be a "full-on fist fight" in the balcony about 30 minutes before the hit show was due to finish.
Witnesses said the rammy started when two audience members were being "rowdy" during the performance, which led to complaints from other theatre-goers.
