E.COLI CHEESE A KILLS SCOT

A SCOT has died following an outbreak of E.coli in the UK linked to a range of cheeses found in Christmas hampers.

The victim is one of 30 confirmed cases of Shiga toxin-producing E.coli, (Stec) recorded across England and Scotland, The UK Health Security Agency revealed 15 patients are female, 15 male, Mrs Kirkham's ranging from seven to 81.

It is unclear where in Scotland the victim lived.
