FAIL OF 2 CITIES

HUMZA Yousaf has been accused of letting down Glasgow over his controversial plan to fund a national council tax freeze.

His home city is in line to get less money than Edinburgh, despite Glasgow having a much higher population than its rival.

The capital stands to pocket £2.5million more due to the cost of freezing the tax on expensive properties.

Glasgow Labour leader George Redmond said: "Even the Tories at their worst would never do this to Glasgow. Yousaf is completely out of his depth." Finance Secretary Shona Robison is proposing to set aside £ 144 million to help local authorities freeze the council tax.
