DAVID MARTINDALE says will he and Livingston keep fighting for their Premiership survival.
GRAND DAN FINISH

Scott Pittman and sub-Dan MacKay's critical jabs have just about kept them off the canvas, two equalisers for Martindale's team that still leaves them with a puncher's chance.

Six points adrift of their visitors at the bottom going into the contest, it felt as if a KO blow might be on the way when Simon Murray twice lashed Ross County ahead.

Martindale had been irritated by VAR calls during his team's previous game against Dundee and the technology again went against him when the Staggies striker, who was initially flagged for offside, saw his first stand after a review. After Pittman's second of the season levelled, Murray again hooked Livi in the face with his 13th of the season There were just four minutes left of normal time and at that stage Derek Adams' men were opening a huge gap and ending a six-game winless streak of their own to leapfrog St Johnstone and move out of the bottom two.

But while Martindale has said it would be cowardice to walk from this scrap, his team also had the bravery to offer another swing in retaliation.

MacKay's priceless strike dried up their bloody nose.

It was billed as a game Livi had to win and as their run without a Premiership win was extended to 15 matches, it still may turn out to be not enough.
