Store giant ridiculed over lamp name

SCOTS have been left in stitches after John Lewis revealed a new £242 table lamp on their website called Jobby The Cat.

A post on social media has gone viral after it was suggested the department store should consider hiring a Scot in their marketing team.

The black and white cat lamp has been created by Seletti, an Italian design brand which creates homeware and accessories "that combine art and industrial design with a sense of humour and fantasy".
