THE world saw the hottest days ever recorded in human history on Sunday and Monday, data suggests.
Preliminary figures from European climate service Copernicus found Earth sizzling at a record average temperature of 17.09C on Sunday.
But data suggests that record was topped on Monday, with a global average of 17.15C logged.
A previous all-time high had been set in 2023 with 17.08C recorded last June, smashing a 2016 record of 16.8C.
It comes as experts warned accelerating climate change is now sending the planet into uncharted territory.
The latest climate milestone follows 13 straight months of record-breaking warmth.
