A HUSBAND has been charged after his pensioner wife died following an alleged disturbance at their home.
Wheelchair user Christine Davies, 68, was discovered after cops were called to the house on Whitletts Road in Ayr on Saturday at 4.45pm.
Her husband Kenneth Davies, 70, appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court charged with assault to severe injury.
The OAP also faces a charge of impeding police officers.
He made no plea and was remanded into custody.
