NEIL GOURLEY got his Olympic dream back in gear with a little help from a group of strangers who handed him his backside on a cycling simulator.
And now he's made it to his first Games in Paris the Scots 1500m hopeful is desperate for his journey not to end on a bum note.
Gourley revealed how he turned to the virtual world to step up his fitness battle having been laid low by a stress reaction to his sacrum.
Daily races against older guys on Zwift - an online multiplayer cycling game helped to improve his strength and also fired up the competitive streak.
But the Glaswegian, 29, admits it did little for his ego as his elder rivals showed him who's boss in the digital world at least.
