A YOUNG mum was forced to pay for a private operation to reduce the size of her breasts after suffering years of back pain.

Caitlin Carruthers needed to wear two sports bras to exercise and was in constant agony due to her 40H chest.

Now, after the life-changing surgery, the make-up artist is pain-free for the first time in years.

The 24-year-old, from Ecclefechan near Dumfries, is looking forward to going on holiday when she will pull on a slimline 34C bikini.

Caitlin, who has a three-year-old son, Vinnie, shed 16kg, or two-and-a-half stone, and dropped five dress sizes from a size 20 to a size 10 in six months.

But the one place she didn’t see a reduction was in her breasts.
