KYREN WILSON insists snooker is in rude health - and the introduction of a new $1million Golden Ball shows how far the sport has come.
The world No.2, who won his maiden world title last season, is salivating at the prospect of continued expansion in the Middle East, which is proving to be a new snooker hotbed.
Last season top potters had the chance to pocket an extra £385,200 in prize money if they pocketed a 147 break and potted the lucrative Golden Ball.
