>>> DUNDEE.....1 ABERDEEN.....O
LUKE MCCOWAN fired Dundee back into the top six and piled even more pressure on Aberdeen at the bottom.
The midfielder's second-half-penalty was enough to take all three points at Dens Park. It was a welcome win as it put the Dark Blues above Hibs after Ross County's late leveller in Dingwall.
Former Aberdeen assistant Tony Docherty did a number on his old team and the Dons, without a manager, are dropping like a stone.
They haven't won in 11 league games. This team look so far out of sorts and they are just now three points above Ross County and the relegation play-off spot.
The worry for Aberdeen is where is that next win going to come from?
Dens Park had been a happy hunting ground but even that changed.
Alarm bells have to be ringing because there are red flags everywhere and not just in the stands.
This team shouldn't be anywhere near a relegation fight but they are. Would you back them to get out? Not on current form.
Aberdeen want a new manager to come in after the international break. I'm not sure too many top candidates would fancy their chances coming into the current situation.
It was the second time Peter Leven had taken interim charge, having led the team to the 1-1 draw with Celtic before Neil Warnock came in.
